This vintage mantel clock was made by the Ansonia Clock Company of New York and is marked inside "Patented June 14, '81". It has an elegant enamel dial with visible "seconds" wheel and a glass cover. The dial has a couple of hairline cracks (see photos.) Black cast iron case with gold-tone column headers and feet and ribbon decoration. In Very Good Condition with just a few signs of age. Tested, and works with the chimes properly sounding the proper number on the hour and once on the half hour. Appears to run a little fast, so will probably need some adjustments to work at its best. Does NOT come with a winding key.
